T20 World Cup: India Beat Bangladesh By 5 Runs

India beat Bangladesh by 5 runs. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. In the first innings, India set a target of 185 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in front of Bangladesh. India did not start well while batting, Indian captain Rohit Sharma got out with a score of 2 runs. But after this, opener KL Rahul played a half-century, the same side Virat Kohli played brilliant innings of 64 runs and Suryakumar Yadav also scored 30 runs.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s Hasan Mahmood took 3 wickets for 47 runs, along with captain Shakib also took 2 wickets for 33 runs.

On the other side, Bangladesh started very well, both the openers scored 66 runs in 7 overs without losing a wicket. But the match was stopped for a while due to heavy rain. Due to heavy rain, the match umpire set Bangladesh a new target of 151 runs in 16 overs (DLS). Opener Liton Das scored 60 runs in 27 balls. India’s Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya took two wickets each.
