Amitabh Bachchan made his Bollywood debut with Saat Hindustani in 1969. The film completes 52 years of the release today, November 7, and to mark the day he shared two black-and-white pictures from the film. Big B also revealed that he signed his first film on February 15, 1969.

Abhishek Bachchan had written a sweet note for his father. Sharing a photo of Big B, Junior B wrote, “Not just as a son, but as an actor and a fan… We are all blessed to witness the greatness! There is so much to admire, to learn, and even more to appreciate. Several generations of cinema lovers get to say we lived in the times of BACHCHAN!!!.”
Actor Tisca Chopra commented, “And the history of Indian cinema started its most brilliant chapter.”
“Thank god for 15th Feb 1969,” actor Abhishek Banerjee added.
Big B’s daughter Shweta Bachchan dropped a heart eyes emoticon.
Ahead on the work front, Amitabh will be seen sharing screen space with Neena Gupta in ‘Goodbye’. He is also a part of ‘Brahmastra’, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and has ‘Mayday’, ‘Jhund’, ‘Good Bye’, and ‘The Intern’ remake in his kitty.
