The Aam Aadmi Party may make huge gains in Punjab as counting of the votes begin if exit polls got it right.
Official trends for all 117 seats in Punjab – AAP leading in 89 seats, Congress in 12 seats and BJP leading in 5 seats.
AAP’s Amit Rattan is leading by 12,346 votes from Bathinda Rural.
AAP’s Bhagwant Mann maintains the lead with 16,787 votes from Dhuri.
After 4th round, Manpreet Badal continues to trail in Bathinda Urban by over 17,000 votes. AAP nominee Jagroop Gill, a veteran municipal councillor of Bathinda, is leading.
Sandeep Jakhar of Congress leading with 1,182 votes at Abohar, the only seat with lead for Congress in Ferozepur and Fazilka district.
Some Congress candidates have started leaving counting centres in Sangrur, Patiala, Barnala, as in every round the lead of AAP candidates is increasing.
AAP candidate from Kulwant Singh leads by 6,040 votes against Congress candidate Balbir Singh Sidhu.
After the 4th round of counting in Patiala, Captain Amarinder Singh is trailing by 9,600 votes. AAP is leading with 19,802 votes.
Punjab sports minister and Congress candidate Pargat Singh trailing by 740 votes from AAP’s Surinder Singh Sodhi from Jalandhar cantonment constituency.
Malvika Sood Sachar, sister of Bollywood actor and social activist is trailing in Moga. She got 4,490 votes while AAP’s Dr Amandeep Kaur Arora got 6,788 votes after the second round of counting. SAD’s Makhan Bear has received 4,775 votes.
