4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Andaman And Nicobar Islands

An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale hit southeast Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar Islands on early Monday morning (8 Nov).

According to National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred 218 km southeast of Port Blair at 5.28 am. The tremors of the earthquake had a depth of 16 km.

On October 27, an earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale hit the Diglipur area of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
